Vegan Tofu Pizza Sticks



These tasty and high-protein vegan tofu pizza sticks make a great snack or starter. They're free of gluten, packed with protein and fiber, and oozing with traditional pizza flavors.

Ingredients:

  • 1 block extra firm tofu, pressed and sliced into sticks
  • 1 cup gluten-free marinara sauce
  • 1 cup vegan cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup gluten-free breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400F 200C

In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, nutritional yeast, dried oregano, dried basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper

Coat each tofu stick with marinara sauce, then dip into the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring they are fully coated

Place the coated tofu sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper

Sprinkle shredded vegan cheese over the tofu sticks

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the tofu is crispy and the cheese is melted and bubbly

Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving
